Our Intermediate team defeated Rathmore in Round 2 of the Pat Lawlor Shield competition last Sunday afternoon in Ballyduff. Team : N. Shanahan, C. Neenan, B. Slattery(1-00), L. O'Mahony, E. Sheehan, D. Shanahan, S. Mackessy(0-01), N. Fealy(1-05), C. Collins(0-01), R. Young(1-01). S. Leahy(1-01). Score : Abbeydorney 4-09, Rathmore : 3-07. Referee : Seamus Mulvihill, St. Senans Catherine Sexton represented the club on the Kerry Senior Ladies team that defeated Tyrone in Round 3 of the Suzuki Ladies National League. FIXTURES : Pat Lawlor Shield - Round 3 : Abbeydorney -v- Firies, Sunday, 2nd March, 12noon. Suzuki Ladies National League - Round 4 : Kerry -v- Laois, Sunday, 2nd March, 2.30pm in Laois.
